DoggyQ sets no essential cookies at all. What it does use is three keys in your browser's own local storage. They never leave your device, they are not sent to us with your requests, and they contain nothing that identifies you. They do not require consent under GDPR.

There is no login cookie, no session cookie and no CSRF token, because DoggyQ has no accounts and no forms that submit on your behalf. Your photo is never placed in any form of browser storage.

Blocking all cookies and site storage is fine here — the photo matcher and every breed page still work. The only effect is that the cookie banner will ask you again on each visit, and dark mode will not be remembered.
